Long Silk-Look Raincoat
I liked the look and the feel of the material.
For being petite, the fit was too long and way to wide.. I don't think a smaller size would have helped.

I liked the fact that this coat was machine washable. I did not previously own an all-weather coat in this color. Fits well, as I am only 5'1/4" tall.

great lightweight spring/fall coat
has removable warm lining not mentioned in description.
GREAT for tall size, very long, and with sleeves uncuffed
generously covers my 36" sleeve length.
i added a snap to close up the collar tightly in rainy or cold weather.

style and length
Ths is the style and length coat what I want. But when I received my coat it's diffrent from the picture I saw on line. shoulder it?s not side cut, it?s straight cut and the pocket it?s not side flip, it?s a big pocket patch sewed on outside. I was disappointed.returned my order.
Applseed's needs to update their on-line pictures

Picture of Raincoat is Deceiving
I have been wanting to purchase this raincoat (olive) for a long time because of its long length and style. Well I finally did, and what a disappointment. First of all, I who usually wear a Large, would have had to get an XXL (if they made it) because it was so tight. Second, it was cheap looking. If this coat was on sale, with a deep discount, I still would not buy it.

OK, I have to gush a little -- this is a terrific coat! I just wore it on a 5 day trip and it looked just as good at the end as the beginning. Also it's a season-spanner and that's been a super plus this winter. Love the longer length -- and I get a lot of compliments.

Collar not as pictures lead one/shoulders big
Given what's on the market today, this is a quality coat in terms of materials and workmanship generally. The problem is that the design needs improvement as it looks large in the shoulders--not good for plus size women--and the collar for the Moss 3x is not as picture for the olive in other sizes or for the other two colors. It does not give the same sharp tailored look and lies flatter and looks rounder on both sides than the collar in the picture. The coat is also so heavy that between that and the length a 5'4" person who is a large plus size might find it more encumbering to get around in than a shorter coat. However, for heavy downpours this is definitely the type of coat people need as it covers all body areas well and the hold helps in that regard too. I rated it one notch lower than I feel most with these concerns would today because
of remembering how well everything was made in the 60's and even 70's and being disgusted that this is the only raincoat coming somewhat close to that--and wondering why they can't do what makes sense and a)improve collar design, b) offer more attractive colors and trims like the blue shorter version, and c) make it more lightweight and improve the shoulder tops so that they look less puffy?
