Please advise if the Chino Weekend Jacket runs small or is it generously cut??

BEST ANSWER: I wear a size 8, and this jacket (in my size) was too tight on me. I returned it and did not re-order a larger size. The jacket is definitely not generously cut, and it would not fit well over a blouse or lightweight sweater.

I ordered size similar to sizes ordered from other companies. It was snug in the hips. Was going to return but decided to exchange for a size larger than anything else I own and it fits fine. So I would say it runs small.

It is cut close to the body and will pull across the bust if worn closed. I wear a regular 12 but this jacket is a little snug across the bust for me. I wear it open and it works but I do think it is not cut well.

SMALL-I'm 5'2,90 pounds because of illness and the PS size is fitted on me. personally, I love it enough to buy another one but usually Size PS at Appleseeds is quite large on me.
