After christmas, I went to Appleseeds web site and there it was. This is the second robe I have bought from Appleseeds and, once again, I'm extremely happy. The quality is great and the fit is perfect. But best of all... it's cotton kit. January 14, 2016

After it arrived, and with my prior history with the shrinkage of 100% cotton items, I decided not to take a chance with the Small Petite robe. It may have been fine, but the size was just a little small already, so I exchanged it for a Medium. Will update my review after the new one arrives. March 20, 2015

I'm not sure if this is all cotton knit, doesn't say, but my guess after washing is that it is polyester-cotton knit. It feels like a really, really nice tee-shirt. Washed beautifully.

Is the self belt a permanent part of the robe's waist or is it removable?

BEST ANSWER: There is an inside tie on each side and then there is a removable belt on the outside waist that is held in place be belt loops on each side of the waist. I truly love this robe; it is so pretty, soft and cuddly but not bulky.

What is the length of this robe in medium?

BEST ANSWER: I would say just about as it appears in the picture. A little below mid calf. I read a review that the items shrink so I bought one size larger. I've washed the nightgown. It did shrink and is perfect now instead of too big as it was before. I like both items very much.
