It's hard to explain but just doesn't complement the dark blue print. I love cotton but didn't like this material or the way it just hung on me. Very thin & flimzy. The other big thing is thought this read machine wash & dry but the label says hand wash & line dry. Very disappointed and will be returning. June 4, 2015

BEST ANSWER: No, not at all. It's a nice lightweight knit, but you can't see through it. Very comfortable. The front ties are much longer than they appear in the photo.

I love this top. No it does not need a tank top under it. Looks great with jeans, and dress up with some jewelry etc. for after 5:00.
