Rated 1 out of 5�by Disappointed0 badly mismatched pattern of stripes I wanted to like it because of the feel of the fabric, but whoever sewed it together didn't bother to match the stripes going around the body so the workmanship is extremely poor and extremely visible. In addition, the stripe under the bustline dips way down in front, much more so than in the photo, making the belly look huge! And it really bothers me to have to pay $10 to send it back but back it goes. Very disappointed by Appleseeds. June 9, 2015

How sheer is this dress?

BEST ANSWER: It's substantial enough that it doesn't need to be worn with a slip, but it is a light crinkle fabrication.

BEST ANSWER: I usually wear 12-14 but got the 14 to make sure the bust was adequate since it's kind of prominent with the tie front. The 14 was perfect.

I ordered the size 12 and it was a good fit for me. The flow of the fabric gives a nice comfortable feeling and the ability to adjust the under bodice is a good feature. I am a medium in most things.

I returned this dress because it was too large. I normally wear a 12 to 14 and ordered the 14 because it didn't have a full back zipper. It looked huge on me so I returned it.

Yes is you are normal to big on top. I am a petite, and have to wear a tank underneath; nevertheless, the dress is lovely, flowing, and a pleasure to wear.
