A basic gored princess seam A-line pattern would have been much better for my figure. This skirt has godettes that begin at bottom of hip level, which widens the appearance of lower hip. Rated 3 out of 5�by junocat way to long pretty material as pictured, however the model must have been 7 feet tall. It was way** way too long came down to my ankles and would have cost time and/or more money to have it shortened! At $79 it should be ready to wear. September 5, 2015

BUT when I received it, the material and colors were a BIG disappointment. I expected it to be softer shades of lavender and soft blues etc., but it reminded me of an ENGINEER material, like a train engineer! So I returned it, BUT paid for the return shipping at the post office, which was only $4.24!! Instead of the $9.99 that Appleseed's would deduct from the price! Sorry Appleseed's, but this was a disappointment! It was an expensive skirt, even with my discount! August 29, 2015

BEST ANSWER: My medium is about 33 inches long. I should add that I love the skirt: it swings beautifully, the material is lovely, and it's a great spring, summer or transitional piece. The colors are lovely.

I measure it to be 34 1/2 inches from waistband to hem. I am tall, and it falls about 10 inches from the floor (flat heel) for me. It's a great skirt...fun to wear.
