The carribean blue was unavailable in my size so I ordered a black and white one. I liked it so much I ordered the blue one size up. The pattern print runs on the diagonal, so it's very flattering The cotton fabric is light enough for very hot weather but opaque so you don't have to layer, a perfect combination! It does need ironing, and even after ironing it took on a gauze-type appearance. However, I love it for a nice casual look. September 9, 2015

The dyes bleed, but eventually stop after the 5th washing. The tunic might be okay as a cover for a swimsuit. The material does need ironing. August 31, 2015

how thin is this material?

BEST ANSWER: It is thin. If you hold it up to the light you can see through it. But it isn't see-through when your wearing it.

This is a very lightweight, thin fabric. It was wonderful in the summer; great for those hot and humid days.
