A photo in a catalog does not substitute for actually trying something on. It may look very good on a model in the catalog, but may not look good on the potential buyer. I returned it. It's generously cut so there's no binding in the shoulders. And the top of the zipper fits into its own little cover when the jacket's zipped! November 10, 2015

The sleeves are not too tight and the width is roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath. I like the fact that it is not a narrow fitted style. I will probably get it dry cleaned rather than wash it to maintain the shape and fabric finish. October 31, 2015

No lining other than the back side of "quilted" fabric. The "quilting" is not done with stitches, as in needle and thread, but rather pressed and fused into a "quilted" pattern

How long is item # A31203, the quilted cable jacket, from the center of the shoulder to the bottom? I want my cardigans to be long enough to cover my untucked tops . Also, how warm is it? I'm looking for something warm. Looking at Robin22's comment, is it knit or is it woven?

BEST ANSWER: Hard to answer. It is not a sweater knit, more like a sweatshirt knit without the flannel like inside of a sweatshirt. It is long enough to cover untucked tops without any problem unless you are talking about the very long tunics. It is warm enough for cool days; not for snowy cold days.

The answer is "YesX4". The jacket has no true side seam, but rather two side seams under the sleeve. The pockets have vertical zippers along the front part of the underarm sections. The pockets themselves are closed on both seams and the bottom, making two inside open topped pockets. I hope this is not too confusing and is clear.

What are the length of arms in regular XL versus petite XL?

BEST ANSWER: I found the regular XL arms to be too long and I have to take them up. This is not an infrequent problem for me though. I think clothes generally are being sized for taller, longer people. But I LOVE this jacket and don't mind doing it because the rest of it is so comfortable and attractive.
