I hope the large does the trick. For most people their usual size would be great, but for me I need a little more room in the hip area. It look better than it does on line or in the catalog. what kind of fabric is this made of?

BEST ANSWER: It's a lovely light weight, non see-through polyester of some kind. No clinginess. Loose enough to flow over my post menopause tummy! I wish it came in more colors. I get compliments all the time.

What is the length of the regular size M and of the petite size M?

BEST ANSWER: It is about 30 inches. for the petite person maybe somehow longer. may wear it with legging, the material of this product is light weight with polyester limning, it may wear spring or autumn

I can only tell you the size S. I measured from the shoulder seam to the front bottom hem - 27". It is about an inch or so longer in the back. Hope this helps.
