I liked everything about this jacket, even the hook closure instead of buttons or zippers. It wore this jacket with black over-the-knee boots, a red, black and grey color block turtleneck sweater and black leggins. Talk about" conservatively sexy" at its best! And Oh yes, I was too cute! I love the length, just above the knee so it can be worn as an outer coat in spring/fall. And the seams all matched which is not always the case lately with a pattern. I did need to have the sleeves shortened, but that is often the case for me. I bought on sale and think it was a great value and will wear often. October 31, 2015

BEST ANSWER: I happened to wear this jacket today. I measured the inside of the jacket. It measures about 41 inches for size 16. I usually wear a 14 but the arms were a bit tight. Absolutely love the jacket!

On my size 8 jacket, the measurement from the front of the left side, around the back of the coat and to the front opening on the right side measures 39 inches.

what is the length of the petite 8 and the reg. 8?

BEST ANSWER: From the bottom of the collar on the back of the coat, to the bottom of the coat is 34 inches. The coat I have is a regular size 8.
