I am sorry to say that, after anxiously awaiting shipment of this dress (which btw took almost 2 weeks) I was so disappointed when I removed it from its plastic bag. I didn't even bother trying it on. From the photo the dress looks like is made of substsntial fabric that would flatter the body, not get STUCK on every roll or undergarment seam. But the fabric, although a lovely color of fushia, feels thin and cheap. Also looks that way "in person" - sent it back. March 20, 2016

The fabric was cheap and the fit was awful. It was misrepresented in the catalog. I should have heeded the reviews but , thought, that couldn't possibly be true but it was. March 16, 2016

I found the material used in this product to be very thin and not the quality that I have come to expect for the price of the garment. I will look elsewhere for this type of dress in the future. I'm so disappointed in this item - the only thing right about it was the sizing. Certainly not worth the price. As hard as it is to find petite sizes I'd truly hoped Appleseed's would deliver better quality. The fabric is thin and flimsy and so the hang is also uneven. March 7, 2016

BEST ANSWER: I ordered a Large and it was perfect for me--right above the kneecap. I am 5'9" so will probably be longer if you are shorter than that.

I am 5' 4" and bought a misses medium. The skirt fell below my knees, which is what I'd hoped for.
