The value is great after the advertised sale price was refunded to my account. I ordered while advertised on sale but was charged the original price initially.I had to go back and ask for the discounted sale price. December 26, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5�by MaxsMom Not as nice as they used to be. I bought these same pants a few years ago, the quality in the pants that I just bought is no where near as good. The fabric is not as nice at all. Also, the pants I bought previously did not have elastic in the waist -- I don't understand why an elastic waist is needed when the pants have a zipper. I prefer side-zip pants and Appleseeds was one of the few places where I could find them. But, as far as I can tell, they now only offer them with the elastic waist as well. That's too bad. Rated 1 out of 5�by red13 Very disappointed with the quality My first experiece with clothing from Appleseed was good (I ordered some tops and a dress) so I did not hesitate to order these ankle pants in black and knaki. However, I am very very disappointed with the quality of the waist band of these pants. Although the waist is slightly elasticized the actual stitching of the waistband is a poor design and reminds me of my first attempt at sewing when I was a teenager. The band itself turns and the facing is not stitched down so it has to be smoothed once the pant is put on. Even though I am not happy with these items I will keep them because my most favorite store/catalog is out of business so I do not have an alternative place to shop. In the future I will not be ordering pants from this company. August 8, 2014

Do these pants run true to size?

BEST ANSWER: I would say these pants run just a tad large. I am 5'5" and weigh 130 lbs. and ordered a size 8. They fit me perfectly--not too tight or too loose. I would say Appleseed's clothing tends to run a little large. The 10's definitely would have been too big. Hope this helps.
