Color was not as illustrated in the catalog picture -- more intense. I ordered my usual size and it was too small. Returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MuffinM I love the way this sweater fits and feels.
First I bought one, and it was just what I was looking for, so I bought three more in different colors. The colors are rich and will go with everything I have. The feel is so soft, and warm enough to wear through the winter and into the spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cilantro Light winter wear
This top is not as warm as acrylic; good for winter wear with a removable top layer. Haven't had one of these long enough to know yet how badly it will pill, but so far (after 2-3 washes) there are signs of a bit of tiny pilling in a shaggy way that may look pretty bad after much longer time. If you don't mind replacing this top every year or two (depending on how often you wash/wear it), it is very nice. It's comfortable, colors are great, and fits very well. Looks really good. WISH IT WERE MORE DURABLE!

Nice fit, soft and comfortable. Just the right length. Wish the color was more cream that on the white site. Overall, glad I bought it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Unfavorable Quality of Product--very poor
I wore this sweater one time and when I took it off at night, the seam had separated at the neck leaving a big hole.
I doubt that I will ever order anything from Appleseeds again.

Nicely finished. Pairs well with a jacket. Can be casual or dressy depending on the accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pdaz Great colors, good heavy-weight mock
Heavier than I expected for "fine-gauge" but lovely colors and it will be very wearable in cool weather. Haven't worn it yet to know how it wears and washes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Northlady So-called "chocolate" color is not like photo
I ordered the chocolate color of this sweater and when it arrived, it was strangely wrapped, no tissue and sort of rumpled into the plastic bag. But what most disappointed me was the faded grayed-out brownish color that was supposed to be a nice rich darker brown as in all the photos showing sweaters in "chocolate." The burnt orange version of the sweater is lovely, however. And wonderfully soft and light feeling. I wonder if all the so-called chocolate sweaters are this dull and faded of a color.
