Rated 4 out of 5 by EnduringElegance Well-made, classic trousers!
Nice color in camel, very classic and very versatile. Construction of garment is well done. Only minor thing is that this fabrication could use a touch of stretch in it. I guess I've become so accustomed to today's fabrications with some stretch or give woven in and this 100% wool woven is a tad bit constrictive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cboy These pants were HUGE!
I returned these, as they were monstrous on me. I put in a note with the return package, that I wondered if they could have been mis-marked. Very disappointing

Used to be that you could order from Appleseeds catalog and get Appleseeds products. Now I'm getting "Blair" and "Tog Shop" which is a cheaper quality and lousy fit. These slacks are longer than indicated in the catalog and don't fit right. They are very wide at the bottom and flop around when you walk. There is no way of telling when you order whether the item is Appleseeds or not. What a shame since I've been a good customer for years.

During the last couple of years I have ordered these in every color in which they are offered (and I do wish there was a dark red or burgundy sort of option!). The downside is that they do have to be dry-cleaned, and that has grown more and more expensive. However, since they ARE ?dressy? pants, I don?t wear them more than a few times a month, so the dry cleaning doesn?t have to be done all that often. They do look good on, especially for people like me who have a relatively small waist and prefer pants that sit at the ?real? waistline (that style is just about impossible to find in wool flannel at any other merchants). Although I live in an area that does not get horribly cold winters, it gets cold enough that when I go out in the evening, the wool pants are a lot more comfortable than any other ?dressy? option.
