Was as far away as an inch from meeting each other, much less overlapping. I even checked the tag to see if I was sent the wrong size. January 14, 2016

It fit great everywhere except snug through hips. I was sad to have to return it. I recommend this coat if you do not have my extreme pear shape issues. I ordered the red, a beautiful color. I followed the advice of other reviewers here and purchased it in my current dress size, a 14 Petite...which size might be too big in other items, but in this coat, it is perfect and drapes over me very nicely with room to add a sweater or some other layer, yet, just alone is not baggy at all. The sleeves a tad long, but this is true of everything I buy, and they are not as long as some items I have had to alter throughout the years. I am 5'1", weigh more than I want to admit, size 14P a near perfect fit. November 2, 2015

It picks up every speck of lint, even off a scarf I wear with it. I've only worn it about 5 times and have to completely clean it off so it looks presentable. It has already begun to pill along the edges where the button holes and buttons are as well as at the cuffs. February 13, 2015

Back length of coat?

BEST ANSWER: I purchased a 14P red coat and the back length of my coat is 34". I was very disappointed in the construction of my coat. The seams were coming apart on the outer shell and it was filthy and had threads hanging all over it. I took me over two hours to prepare it to wear out of the house. It fits very well but the quality of the fabric used is extremely poor with several areas of faultily woven wool. Even at $49.95, it was overpriced as I have nicer coats I've bought at Goodwill and St. Vincent de Paul. I won't be purchasing another coat from Appleseed's. Thank you.
