You can wear it with just about anything; i.e., a skirt, pants, or a dress, etc. You could wear it to work, shopping, church, just about anywhere ... It can be used as an outer jacket, or else worn inside places which are very chilly. This is a very warm jacket. It would definitely be for a colder climate. July 4, 2014

Jacket is described as black herringbone. But photo looks like chocolate brown herringbone. What is actual color?

BEST ANSWER: Actual color is black but combines with beige it gives the impression of being brown,however when worn with black,Mitch appears black., I reper to wear brown wit) it. Love the jacket.

I ordered, but did not keep this jacket. If I remember correctly, there may have been some black herringbone lines, but the overall look is brown.

The jacket is chocolate brown herringbone, not black. The buttons are dark brown. If you want slacks to match, get dark brown ones, not black.

The one I have is brown herringbone. The brown is so dark, it looks great with black, brown, or khaki pants. Fits great, I love it.
