I wear a size 8 and the size 8 coat that I received was tight in the shoulders even though I was wearing only a thin blouse underneath. Also, the material was thin and not the quality that I would expect for $150. Returned it immediately. November 22, 2013

Does this coat run true to size or larger? specifically for Petite sizes. I'm 5'1, 36D-30-39.

BEST ANSWER: Hi. I returned the coat -- it looked different from its picture when it arrived. It was low quality fabric, poor sewing and too short. So no, it does not run true to size or even to the picture in the catalog.

I haven't worn coat yet since I bought it this summer but it is true to size and although I wasn't sure I'd like the big collar - I did! And I love the color of the brown one (Vicuna?).
