Rated 4 out of 5�by Greenjeans Basic, comfortable jeans I like the soft feel of these jeans, and they look a bit dressier than my other jeans. The fabric is 79% cotton, 19% polyester, and 2% spandex. I prefer the jeans with 5% spandex, but Appleseeds no longer sells them. I bought these because they are the last batch with a 29" inseam for petite slacks. I'll be buying my 29" inseam slacks elsewhere, since the 30" regular inseam doesn't work for me. BTW, these slacks have 2 front pockets large enough to carry your cellphone, but the 2 back pockets are just for show; they are stitched shut. April 11, 2015

BEST ANSWER: These are traditional fit. I am in my 80s and have always had large thighs and calves, so find these "dressy jeans" a great fit and look so good at all times. The straight legs are neat looking without looking baggy . The permanent crease makes them look fresh every time I put them on.

These jeans sit at the waist. They are very comfortable . The only problem I have with them is they bleed forever!

BEST ANSWER: Petite means that the pants are shorter than a Regular. Petite pants are for women 5' 4" or less.
These are beautiful pants! I always get compliments on them when I wear them.

It means that the inseams are shorter (usually for 5'4" people and under) so hemming is not necessary. I ordered a 10P and they were perfect.

There are a lady's petite size just like a jacket, skirt or dress might be a petite 4, petite 8, etc. The are designed for shorter ladies.
