Rated 3 out of 5�by 7Kathy Returned rain jacket Did not like the fabric - wrinkled easily & did not look attractive. Also the pockets were slanted so items could fall out when on a shopping trip. Even the color, a pretty blue, did not seem to be one that would stand up to time. The hood was outstanding, however, not separate or large to get in the way when down. Had to return it, but was able to exchange it for a different style. March 23, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5�by GinnyB Bought one, then the other I bought this in pink and loved it. Well made, great color and stylish contrast. The silver buttons show off well with silver jewelry. I liked it so much that I immediately ordered the blue one as well and like it just as much. Just two things--the sleeves are way too long and the look is affected slightly by having to turn them up so much. Also they were wrinkled from tight packing and had to be pressed. But I love them and can't wait for some rainy days. July 24, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5�by Oregon25 What a deal! Very happy with this coat. I was really happy with this coat, just right for our wet, rainy days without being too snug in sleeve. Western Oregon has lots of rain but not so cold with it usually, so loose sleeves and open snap front are just the right thing to keep dry but not steam up in the grocery store. I appreciate the hood that keeps rain off but flips down out of the way inside. The blue/green color is bright, but tasteful. Packs easily into suitcase, too July 14, 2014

Is this a raincoat?

BEST ANSWER: Well, yes and no. It is labelled "water resistant" not waterproof. It is fine in a light rain, but would not work in a downpour. The colors are wonderful, though. I like it so much I bought two.
