I had hoped, because of the style (or cut) of this dress, as shown in the advertised photo, that it would be made of a material that flowed and draped softly from the hips. Apparently, when I read about this dress I did not see the word spandex or I would not have purchased it. January 7, 2015

Does it wrinkle?

BEST ANSWER: After completing alterations to this dress, I washed it separately in the sink using Woolite. Then I threw it in the dryer with a towel on a delicate cycle. Once dry, I immediately placed it on a hanger and it was ready to wear (no noticeable wrinkling). If you place this in the washing machine, I would set the spin cycle on low to help reduce wrinkling. I also removed the ties in the alteration process. From past experience, ties or strings like to wrap around a garment in the dryer. However, turning the garment inside out would help with this situation as well.

No wrinkles. I wore this on a plane and then for a full day, walking around Atlanta and though I felt hot and tired, the dress held up well!

BEST ANSWER: No. I wear it in the summer here in southern California. It is comfortable in warm weather.
