My only issue is that in the back the A-line had a little bit of a "bell" line at the bottom of the skirt. But it is just a slight issue. It also might be my dress only and the way the seamstress sewed it. It is a light simple dress. I bought it on the sale price of less than $20 so it was well worth it. February 6, 2016

The dress length here is given "from the shoulder". How does it translate into the normal dress length measurement?

BEST ANSWER: It is fine for me, but I am 5'3" and wear petites. It is just below the knee. If you are taller, the dress may be shorter on you. The material is nicely wrinkle-free. It was great for a business appointment with a jacket.
