Actually these feel more comfortable than the old ones. However, with the stretch they are slightly baggy in the hips and thighs so I need to reorder one size smaller than what I usually wear. I hope the smaller ones won't be too small! December 23, 2015

I was totally surprised at how heavy the fabric is but decided to wash them thinking they would come out of the dryer very wrinkled. Does the waist fall at or above the waist or is it the modern lower waist?

BEST ANSWER: These jeans fit (comfortably) at the waist; these are one of the few pairs of jeans I could find that fit at the waist in today's 'jeans market', without pinching or gapping.

On me (I am 5 ft. tall and weight 93 lbs.) the waist falls at "the modern lower waist." I was disappointed; still waiting for this styling cycle to end.

What is the inseam on a 18W comfort waist jeans?

BEST ANSWER: I have a pair I have been wearing for a while. I just measured the inseam and it came up to 29". I am 5'6" and have relatively short legs; I have not shortened these although they are a little on the long side -- I roll them up with very flat shoes or in the rain. Hope this helps.

BEST ANSWER: This item is not available in tall sizes, however the crotch would not be longer than the misses size.
Misses tall size features inseams 2" longer.
