Walnut is not what I received. It is a definite ivory. I like ivory. But the arm holes are snug. Dear women's clothing manufacturers, Sometimes we don't need hourglass, princess styling. Some of us wear sweatshirts or layers in the house and then need to grab a jacket to walk the dog. Let's get realistic about women and what they need in terms of fit vs fashion. January 13, 2016

I measured my chest according to the size chart and it fits perfectly! The jacket is warm and so very soft. It would have been a good price but I got it on sale which is even better.Also it shipped very quickly. I'd recommend this jacket, if you're on the fence - buy it! November 26, 2015

This is my 3rd purchase of a fall/winter jacket, and as coats are not cheap, it really helps to find something stylish and this affordable. Other reviews have stated the sleeves are too long, but I don't mind turning them back so more of the fleece shows. Yes, in proportion to the jacket itself the sleeves seem a bit snug, but I did size up M-petite so that is not a problem. A cute scarf will solve the issue of a too loose collar. I would would describe the walnut as more creme, and the style as nicer than just a heavy hoodie. Warmer too, no hood on this though. November 7, 2015

Would size 12 jacket be a medium or large??

BEST ANSWER: I wear a size 14. I bought a petite x-lg. A large would probably have fit just fine but I like to wear bulky sweaters with it. I love the warmth of the jacket. If you won't be wearing anything bulky underneath it. I'd buy a med.

Is this jacket narrower at the waist or not? I can't tell from the picture

BEST ANSWER: It does narrow at waist very slightly but it is true to size. I had no problem with waist

Yes, it is slightly narrower. I have size Large, and zipping it up and laying it flat, and measuring across from each under arm measures 22 1/2 inches, waist 21 3/4 and very end, 25 1/2 inches. It is very nicely styled, is warm, cozy and pretty. I am very pleased with purchase.

No, it is not narrower at the waist. Very roomy and comfortable, warm and light weight. I love this coat!! Was glad to have through a cold Winter.

It's a straight jacket that falls right at hip level. It is not a fitted jacket, it is loose fitting.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have. It's more of a "winter white." Colors look different on different monitors. It was exactly the color I expected, even though walnut implies brown. It doesn't show dirt either :)
