It goes with a white, suit jacket, a red, suit jacket, a black, suit jacket. It's now my favorite toy to play dress-up. And I am the stuffed doll. Oh. well, I wonder if Appleseed's is going to spoil me rotten with perfect fit, designs and low prices. I can hardly wait to find Out. Thank-you. November 29, 2015

Usually the shoulders are too big; not this time. The dress hits my knee; it does not cling (but I wore a 1/2 slip anyway). I received a lovely compliment at work that it looked beautiful and had great lines! November 13, 2015

It's appropriate for so many occasions: weddings, funerals, theater, party, - even the office if you want to look especially elegant. Wish I had this dress in another color also. I found the dress to be a couple of inches below the knee, which was not what I had hoped. I have returned it, and am looking forward to receiving the replacement in the petite sizing. I wanted the black cherry color so wound up ordering petite as the regular size was out of that color. But it fits perfectly and is just the right length so am glad I wound up getting the petite size. And I love the black cherry! Nice material and a flattering style. March 6, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5�by ABorealis Elegant and comfortable - great travel dress I love this dress. I now have 4 of them in different colour combinations. They are elegant and so 'forgiving' in shape. I buy a size 12 and it drapes on me. I can dress it up with pearls, or even belt it, but I prefer not to. The neck is nice and high, so it's not revealing. Sleeves are 3/4 length. These are my go-to dresses for church, funerals (black with white trim) and times when you want to throw on a simple, elegant frock that makes you look so chic for the value. It's a great dress for traveling. Suggest rolling it, not folding, as it may crease a bit. February 7, 2015

BEST ANSWER: I normally wear a size 12-14 and this dress fits very well. I would say more of a 12 on the top. Very cute dress can be worn anywhere.

I am usually a 14 to 16 depending on the style. I am a 43" bust and 41" waist. I bought the Large in black and it fits beautifully - hangs well without hugging any bumps and looks very smart. Worth trying.

BEST ANSWER: I returned the dress. However, I am 4' 10" and it was half way to mid-calf. Appleseed's should be able to tell you the exact length of the dress. The dress is very nice, just not becoming to me. I hope this reply helps you.

How long is the size 12? The chart says 25 inches but that cant be right
