BEST ANSWER: The front pockets are just a decoration, but the back pockets are real and very useful. These pants are so very comfortable I gladly give up my front pockets.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, they do sit at the waist. They do run a bit on the large size though. Wished I would have ordered one size smaller, but I have already washed them. They didn't shrink as much as I thought they would. They are very comfortable though.

BEST ANSWER: No the pants do not have real pockets. They have just been top stitched to make them look like they have a fly and front pockets. The back pockets are real. I love my slim leg jeans !

BEST ANSWER: I have bought 7 pairs of these pants now and do not like to wear any other when the weather is cool. I am 5'8 and long waisted; these pants fit me perfect; they do not stretch out, wash great, and they are not short in the back waist area. I love them and will continue to buy them as long as the material is not changed.

BEST ANSWER: I have bought 4 pairs of these pants. I originally would not put them in the dryer for fear of shrinkage; then I started putting them in for a short time, take them out and hang them to fully dry; I now just put them in the dryer on low full time. The shrinkage is minimal, if any. Not enough to worry about. These are my go to pants and I love them!!!

I'm 5/4 and 125 lbs. I'm usually between a size 8 or a 10 depending on the fit. In this size guide for these pants, the 8 is a small and the 10 is a medium. Generally Appleseeds pants run a little large but since these are a stretch fabric, I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

BEST ANSWER: I'm pretty sure you can go with the small. The medium fits me to a tee, and I'm 10 pounds heavier than you are. You will like them a lot, I predict.

BEST ANSWER: Good question. It feels like a tighter and thicker knit pants. They fit like thicker leggings. The texture is a very very light denim--not rough like denim cloths. I'd say more "knit" than "denim." Very comfortable because it stretches with every movement. I, personally, own every color they put out. I LOVE wearing them.

I need to know how a size 10 WOVEN Appleseeds jean compares to a Small or Medium KNIT in these jeans. I wear a 10 Regular in Appleseeds woven denim jeans, and want these knit jeans to fit snugly: not loose, but not super tight. These knit jeans are not sized by number, just by S, M, L, etc. Should I order a Small or a Medium?

I have ordered these three times in different colors and also the caprices my go to pants on a regular basis the white ones were a bit tight in the thy but stretched out easily I am very active and they do not sag in knees or seat at all after a daylong weare in fact am wearing them right now
