Is the neck too tight as some reviews have said?

BEST ANSWER: When you put it over your head, you wonder if it will go over. When it finally does, it is snug but comfortable on the neck. Your hair needs to be combed again.

It is snug but I have several and when ever I wear one I stretch the neck a few times to loosen it up. Works pretty well. The Cotten ones are looser.

I have a problem with mine starting to pill even after the first wash. Other than that, I LOVE these sweaters. I'd like to order more if they didn't do that. I've had mine over a year. Has anything changed?

BEST ANSWER: I purchased 2 of the sweaters about a year ago and so far have had no problem with pills. They are really 2 of my favorite tops.

the newer ones I have bought (2 years or less) are starting to pill; the older ones are still fine. Seems something changed
