BEST ANSWER: Yes, I think it probably is true to size. I ended up returning it, with some regret, because I didn't think the boxy fit in my size (2X) was flattering to me. I wish it had worked - the fabric was perfect.

What color is Midnight? Black? or very dark Navy?

BEST ANSWER: Midnight is one of those colors that change. At times in certain lights its black or really dark navy. If you have ever noticed in tans, sometime they will look green when you get out in the sunlight. Hope that helps

BEST ANSWER: At the point where the sleeve joins the body of the jacket the measurement across the sleeve is 8.75 inches, making the circumference 17.25 inches. It is a very generous sleeve.
