BEST ANSWER: I ordered the blue and loved the color, style and quality. Unfortunately, will have to return because of size. I ordered a PXL but it's not a petite in any sense. Sleeves, shoulders, etc. way too long. Tag indicates petite, though. Other than fit, I'd recommend.
Coat have shoulder pads?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, but not large ones, just enough to make it fit smoothly over the shoulder. This is a nice coat and I really like the slightly longer than pea coat length. I looked for several years to find a red coat with this styling. Also the red is slightly muted so it looks nice for both everyday and dressier occasions.

BEST ANSWER: I would probably say not! I usually order a Petite X Large, with other retailers and this Petite X Large is rather generous in it's sizing... lovely coat indeed! I have plenty of room in this particular coat! I love the dark mallard color! Gorgeous!
Is it warm enough for below 0 temps?

BEST ANSWER: Only indoors... For outdoor wear, it should be fine till about 30 degrees. I actually got it for indoor wear when it is very cold and our indoor temperature varies between 58 and 65 degrees (never minding that the thermometer reads 70...).

BEST ANSWER: Hi ... the label does not indicate the percentage of wool. However given it's weight and dry cleaning only, I suspect that it is all wool. Nice coat.
How warm is this coat in winter? Does it cover temperatures below 40 degrees?

BEST ANSWER: I would say yes. The coat is very warm . I think with a neck scarf and gloves you would be set to go for even lower temps.

BEST ANSWER: I won?t reorder now, as I just got mine. The coat is lovely. The color in the picture is a a bit lighter and a little blue/green; whereas the coat is definitely navy. I think it runs a bit large, but great over turtleneck sweaters
How reliable is the size guide? Is a medium actually a size 8-10? Usually it?s a 6-8?

BEST ANSWER: The back has a single seam vertically down the center. Otherwise plain - no pleats, plackets, belts, etc. I love this coat. Warm down to 32 degrees. Goes well over pants or dresses.

BEST ANSWER: It is not very long. The hemline hits my upper thigh. If you look at the photo of this coat on the model you will see that her finger tips hit her thigh below the hemline. It fits me the same.
