BEST ANSWER: This jacket is lightweight. I use it for early spring or autumn. It's full cut so it can be used over a sweater. I get lots of use from this jacket.

As the name suggests it is only a "windbreaker" so any warmth would come from what is worn under it. It is just right for Spring days when the wind is a bit cool but the temp is in the high 60s to low 70s here in the coastal south.

It depends on the temperature of the day and the sleeve length of the garment one is wearing. The windbreaker is not lined so if you want to wear it in below 50 degree temps I would say it is not warm.

BEST ANSWER: The sleeves on the petite are just fine on me; I am 5' 2" tall. Can't compare to Misses because I didn't order it. But surely if you call Appleseed's customer service, someone there should be able to give you the comparative inseam arm length measurements.

I don't remember the sleeves but I had to return the jacket because it was too large. I am 4' 11 1/2 and weigh about 117 lbs. I am finding most of Appleseed's clothes are too large for me, especially in length. I wish they had a XS size.

No, it's not, but it's a great layer to add to others if you're traveling. It's very light weight and since the hood can be hidden as part of the collar, it has a touch more style than if the hood were always visible. But it is also great to be able to use hood when needed! I'm very pleased with mine.

BEST ANSWER: I'm 5'4" tall and generally wear a Large, but in this jacket, a Medium fits well. The length is 28" measuring the very center of the back (from the neck/collar seam to the bottom). It hits me exactly 8" above the top of my kneecap. I did not get a Petite but probably could have., The soft Periwinkle color is a beautiful lavender-blue color (just what I wanted). I also ordered the aqua colored one to check another size and see the color but it was a little greener than the photo, as I recall (and a little big in a Large). I weigh 150..
